Civil road realignments, safety barrier construction, road rehabilitations and the creation of entirely new roading and pavement systems for subdivisions.

Drainage and stormwater solutions and water supply installations of all sizes all carried out to regulatory standards. Ranging from large commercial to small residential jobs.

Residential

We carry out many small jobs for private residents. We are able to provide site preparation, excavation and back-fill as well as construction of the retaining wall itself.

Richie Graham

(Director)

From the age of 17 Richie has been a part of the civil roading industry. Richie is a competent operator of all heavy machinery. Richie has extensive project management experience in many areas of civil construction including major earthworks, roading construction, highway rehabilitations and drainage works. Richie has managed a number of large maintenance contracts which include the Manawatu and Rangitikei area. In these roles he managed a financial value of 10 million per contract which included a variety of works. Richie is passionate about what he does and prides himself on strong working relationships and trust within his crew and clients which ultimately leads to creating a strong sense of whanaungatanga.

Mike Graham

(Managing Director)

Waikato / Bay Of Plenty

Mike has over 30 years in the industry starting from a stop go paddle to building multimillion-dollar expressways.

Mike spent over 20 years in the Manawatu-Rangitikei area initially as a machine operator to overseeing various civil projects from Subdivisions to pavements.

His most recent project being the Hamilton section of the Waikato expressway where he was tasked with building 22kms of pavement out of the infamous Hi-Lab, thus earning high praise from Waka Kotahi. Mike brought a vast amount of pavement construction knowledge to the project. It was very evident from Mike’s past experience as a grader operator, managing construction sites and experience gained during construction of multiple pavement types. He understood the basic principles of pavement construction. The ability to understand the inter-action of materials and construction practises is fundamental to the successful construction of roads. Mike has this knowledge and understanding.

Following on from the success of this project and the relationships formed it has allowed him to be the very proud founder of Graham civil Waikato.

Matt Mataki

Matt Mataki is result orientated. He is a professional with proven skills in project management and improving performance. Matt’s strengths are the ability to develop and implement strategies, set priorities, improve financial and staff performance to achieve the desired outcomes.
